The Boulder Yard 5714 Industry Ln Frederick, MD 21704 Click here for directions YOUTH REGISTRATION All competitors must have an Introductory or Competitor Membership to compete. Membership registration is run by USA Climbing. Registration link available HERE. All competitors will check in at the front desk. If you have not paid then you will do so at the front desk during check ins before your competition begins. VOLUNTEERS We need volunteers of all experience levels to help with checking climbers in, Judging, and being runners for score keeping. We will provide coffee, and snacks/donuts in the morning, food and drinks at lunch, and beer in the evening as a gesture of thanks. We need all volunteers experienced and new! FORMAT Standard Redpoint COMPETITION TIMELINE YOUTH 1ST WAVE 7:00am – Check in 7:45am – Check in closes 7:45am – Competitors meeting 8:00am – Climbing begins YOUTH 2ND WAVE 11:00am - Check in 11:45am - Check in closes 11:45am - Competitors meeting 12:00pm - Climbing begins 3:30pm - Awards CITIZEN - IRON GRIP ADAPTIVE COMP 3:30pm - Check in 4:00pm - Climbing begins FINALS 7:00pm - Finals Begin 8:00pm - Awards PARKING INFORMATION There is free abundant parking in front, on the sides, and behind the building. We also have street parking if needed. SPECTATORS Only competitors, volunteers and staff will be allowed on the padded sections of the floor during the competition. All spectators will be asked to remain on the concrete walkways or in designated spectating areas within the gym. Please make sure to fill out a waiver at the competition. TERMS & CONDITIONS |
